Class Description

Welcome back to school and The Brick Lab! We hope you had a great summer and are now ready to dive into another bricktastic after school LEGO® adventure. Utilizing only genuine LEGO® sets his class has been specifically designed to meet young learners at their level. From LEGO® newbies to experienced builders The Brick Lab's Instructors are ready to lead the way through weekly hands-on learning adventures. Each 8-week class will follow the same weekly schedule: 15-20 minutes to eat lunch/snack, free build and LEGO® play. 5-10 minutes discussion on the STEAM topics of the week. 25-35 minutes for building the weekly challenge project. 15-30 minutes of free building and LEGO® play. 5-15 minutes for cleanup. All classes will take place at the Scotts Valley Community Center where families either walk their students in or take advantage of our curbside drop off. At the end of the 8-week class students will receive a small LEGO® set to continue their learning adventure at home. What is LEGO® Play? Not every student wants to build LEGO® every week or for the full class period. That is why The Brick Lab also offers LEGO® inspired play. From mini-figure stuffies we call Building Buddies, to LEGO® coloring pages, books, and games we work hard to engage students with LEGO® while also allowing time for a break from building. None of our activities are compulsory. Students are welcome to dive into our weekly Instructor led curriculum or explore and play with LEGO® as they please. Our goal at The Brick Lab is to facilitate each student’s personal growth utilizing hands-on learning through play.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please contact us via email sent to Info@SVBrickLab.com up to 72 hours before the class start time for a full refund. Cancelations past 72 hours will incur a penalty fee for late cancelations.
